Tales from Brodick - Immersive Storytelling at Brodick Castle, Isle of Arran
When Brodick Castle on the Isle of Arran reopened following an extensive National Trust for Scotland redevelopment, the occasion called for something more than a ribbon cutting. Tales from Brodick was an immersive storytelling event created to mark the moment — inviting visitors to step inside the castle's atmospheric drawing room and experience its history come alive.
We were commissioned to lead the creative direction, video production, and projection mapping for the experience — weaving historical imagery and bespoke animation directly onto the castle's original wall panelling, using the architecture itself as the canvas for the story.

Where history, theatre, and projection mapping meet
What made Tales from Brodick distinctive was the blend of technology and live performance. As the projections unfolded across the drawing room walls, actors stepped into the roles of famous figures from the castle's past — bringing the narrative to life with a theatrical energy that no screen alone could replicate. The result was an experience that felt genuinely alive, where the boundaries between the historic building, its stories, and its audience dissolved.
